Integrated Sub-Courses in Art Therapy

As part of our Professional Diploma in Arts Therapy, we offer specialized sub-courses that integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family and Marital Therapy into the art therapy framework. These sub-courses provide a deep dive into how these well-established psychological methods can be enhanced through creative arts therapies, allowing practitioners to offer more holistic and versatile interventions. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in Art Therapy: This course explores how visual arts can complement CBT by helping clients externalize their thoughts and emotions, identify cognitive distortions, and engage in problem-solving in a creative and reflective manner. Through guided art-making, therapists can reinforce CBT techniques, making abstract concepts more tangible for clients. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in Art Therapy: Focused on emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and mindfulness, this sub-course integrates the principles of DBT with creative arts. Participants will learn how to use art to teach clients DBT skills, helping them visually map out emotional responses, practice mindfulness through creative processes, and improve interpersonal effectiveness. Family and Marital Therapy in Art Therapy: This course focuses on how art therapy can support families and couples in addressing communication issues, resolving conflicts, and building stronger emotional connections. By engaging in joint art-making activities, family members can express feelings and perspectives that might be difficult to verbalize, fostering deeper understanding and empathy within relationships. Each of these sub-courses combines theoretical knowledge with practical, experiential learning, empowering professionals to integrate these therapeutic techniques into their practice with greater flexibility and creativity. By completing these courses, participants will expand their toolkit for helping clients achieve emotional healing, behavioral change, and relational growth.

Art Therapy Testing Center

At the Art Therapy Testing Center, we use projective tests to assess and understand the deeper layers of an individual’s emotional, cognitive, and psychological world through creative expression. Our center offers a unique approach to psychological evaluation by combining traditional projective testing methods with the therapeutic power of art, allowing for a comprehensive and holistic view of an individual’s mental and emotional state. Our services include a wide range of projective tests designed to uncover unconscious thoughts, feelings, and conflicts that may be difficult to express verbally. Whether for diagnostic purposes, personal insight, or therapeutic progress, our projective art therapy assessments offer a creative and in-depth approach to understanding the complexities of the human mind

Individual Art Therapy Sessions

Our Individual Art Therapy Sessions provide personalized, one-on-one support tailored to each client’s unique emotional, psychological, and developmental needs. In these sessions, clients are guided through the creative process by a trained art therapist, using various artistic mediums to explore emotions, express unconscious thoughts, and process traumatic experiences. Whether facing anxiety, depression, trauma, or personal growth challenges, individual sessions offer a safe and private space for healing and self-discovery.

Group Art Therapy Sessions

In our Group Art Therapy Sessions, participants benefit from shared creative experiences that foster connection, empathy, and mutual support. These sessions are designed for individuals who want to explore their emotions in a communal setting while engaging in therapeutic art-making. Group therapy offers the opportunity to address collective issues such as grief, trauma, or social anxiety, while building interpersonal skills and reducing feelings of isolation. The collaborative environment enhances emotional expression and group cohesion through shared creative journeys.

Community workshops

Our Workshops for the Local Community aim to bring the benefits of art therapy to a broader audience, offering creative therapeutic experiences in a supportive and accessible setting. These workshops focus on mental health awareness, stress reduction, and self-care through artistic expression, and are open to all age groups and backgrounds. Whether you are seeking a creative outlet, personal healing, or a sense of community, these workshops are designed to engage the local population in meaningful, therapeutic art-making that promotes emotional well-being and resilience.
